A Tradition Stitched Into Every Bear
In remote villages across Peru, generations of makers have perfected the art of working with baby alpaca fleece — one of the softest and most sustainable natural fibres in the world.
We work directly with these artisans, building long-term partnerships based on trust, fair pay, and respect. Our founder, Antonia, travels regularly to Peru to collaborate on new designs and ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Meet Some of Our Makers
María – Sicuani, Peru
María learned the art of sewing alpaca fleece from her mother over 20 years ago. She specialises in our Classic Collection, shaping each bear’s gentle curves and signature softness.
“Every bear has its own personality. I think about the child or person who will hug it, and I put love into every stitch.”
Jorge – Lima, Peru
Jorge leads a small workshop in Lima where our Super Luxe Bears are made. His style is known for plush, densely packed fur and carefully felted paw pads.
“We make bears to last a lifetime. When I finish one, I feel proud knowing it will be part of someone’s story.”
Elena – Sicuani, Peru
Elena’s speciality is working with baby alpaca fleece for our Baby-Safe Bears. She ensures every bear is perfectly soft, hypoallergenic, and safe for even the smallest hands.
