From Luxury Fashion to Lifelong Companions
Alpaca Teddy was born from Lacorine, our luxury alpaca clothing brand known for ponchos, capes, and fur hats.
Working with alpaca fleece daily, we realised its unmatched softness would make the perfect teddy bear. And so, our most huggable creation was born.
Nature’s Softest Fibre
Alpaca fleece is a natural treasure:

High in the Andes, alpacas endure both intense sun and freezing nights. Their hollow fibre keeps them cool in summer and warm in winter — qualities that make our bears cosy, light, and durable.
Ethically Sourced, Respectfully Made
Our founder, Antonia, was born in Peru and works closely with Andean farmers and artisans.
We source fleece only from alpacas that have passed naturally during the harsh winters — a process that supports farmers, reduces waste, and respects the animals.
This income helps rural families recover from the loss of livestock.
Crafted by Generations of Skill
Every teddy is handmade in Peru by artisans in remote villages, using techniques passed down for generations.
Antonia travels regularly to maintain personal relationships, ensure high working standards, and collaborate on new designs.

- Sicuani Bears – Classic, rounded arms and legs, super soft baby alpaca fleece.
- Lima Bears – Dense, plush fur with felted paw pads and a wider build.
